Back in stock due to popular demand: DILATE YOUR MIND (MTV Unplugged)

This is a double lp with the full broadcast of the live performance Duran Duran recorded for the popular MTV Unplugged series on November 17th, 1993. This was the first live performance of the band when Simons recovered from vocal issues (which started 10 weeks before at the band's infamous show at the Ahoy in Rotterdam in The Netherlands which the band had to beak off) during their 'Dilate Your Mind Tour 1993'. A great soundboard recording of the show plus a bunch of audience recorded rehearsals (indicated with *).

The band played a set of hitsongs like Hungry Like The Wolf, Planet Earth, Girls On Film, Rio and Notorious with their newest hitsingles Ordinary World and Come Undone in front of a small audience in an intimate setting at the Sony Studios in New York City, USA.

At the time the band was touring heavily to promote their critically acclaimed album The Wedding Album and in fact this MTV Unplugged recording was planned to be officially released to stretch the success of The Wedding Album. However, this live album was shelved in favour of the covers album Thank You.
